About the Breed

The Doubull, also known as the French Bulldog, is a compact, friendly and loyal breed that is gaining popularity all over the world. This breed is known for its juvenile appearance and charming personality. History The Doubull was first bred in France during the 19th century to be a companion animal for wealthy French citizens. The breed was created by crossing Bulldogs from England with Terriers from France. The resulting breed was beloved by its owners for being an affectionate and loyal companion. As the popularity of this breed increased, it eventually spread across Europe and into America where it quickly gained a following of devoted fans. Temperament Doubulls are intelligent, loving dogs who enjoy spending time with their family. They are playful, active and often times very outgoing once they get to know someone new. They make excellent companions for children due to their gentle nature and tendency to show affection towards those they trust. Ideal Owners Doubulls are ideal pets for families that have time to devote to their pets physical and emotional needs on a daily basis. They love attention from their owners which means that an owner should be willing to give them plenty of love in order to keep them happy and healthy throughout their life span. While this breed does not require excessive amounts of exercise, it is still important that any potential owner should be able to provide some level of physical activity in order to keep this dog happy and healthy over time. Healthy Weight The ideal weight range for an adult Doubull should fall between 18-30 pounds depending on age, gender, size etc It is important that any potential owner pays close attention to the diet of these dogs in order ensure proper nutrition throughout its life span as these dogs have a tendency towards obesity if not given enough exercise or fed too many calories per day consistently over time.. Important Health Checks It is important that any potential owner takes preventative measures when it comes caring for his or her Doubulls health such as scheduling regular checkups at least once each year with your veterinarian so that any potential health issues can be identified early on before they become more serious down the line.. Its also recommended that you take your pet in every 6 months so your vet can check his teeth/gums/ears/eyes/etc., vaccinate him against common illnesses like parvo virus etc., administer flea & tick prevention treatments regularly (if necessary depending on where you live), test him annually for heartworm disease as well as other parasites like roundworms/hookworms etc.. Additionally, it may also be beneficial if your vet were able perform bi-annual bloodwork just so you know what kind of shape your pups internal organs are in before anything else goes wrong internally..
