Get to know Lola

Lola came to us from a local family who was no longer able to care for her. At 6 years old she is 80 pounds and can be shy when first meeting new people. It may take some time to warm up to you, but when she does, she will be your closest companion! Lola came to us because she lived with young kids and their energy level was way too much for her. Since she is older, she has shown that most dogs she does not get along with since she is set in her ways and not a young pup anymore. We would suggests her being an only animal household since she does take time to adjust to new places. Lola walks pretty well on the leash and likes to run around in the yard and play fetch. This big girl would do best in a more quiet home and preferably a fenced in yard to play all day.
