The brothers crossed several breeds together over time including the Great Pyrenees, Spanish Mastiff, Bull Terrier, Boxer and Pointer amongst others to develop this unique breed that we know today as the Dogo Argentino. Healthy Weight The average healthy weight for a male Dogo Argentino ranges between 80-100 pounds while females tend to range between 70-90 pounds depending on size variation within certain bloodlines of this breed.
